This project represents a from-scratch re-envisioning of the landmark 2000 JRPG, initially titled Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. Taking a significant departure from recent Dragon Quest remakes, like the recently launched HD-2D versions, this reimagining adopts a striking 3D art style. Environments appear to look like detailed dioramas, with protagonists featuring a appealing chibi-esque appearance.
